Head of Human Resources & Logistics

James Moreno is a Director and the Head of Human Resources & Logistics at Conning, where he manages the design and delivery of global Human Resource programs, as well as global facilities planning. He has been a senior member of the Conning group of companies, holding leadership roles in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Prior to his current role, James served as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Conning‘s operations in Asia and Europe, where he was responsible for the regions’ corporate and operational functions including finance, human resources, compliance, technology, investment operations and facilities management. Previously, James was Director of Corporate Development with Conning in the U.S., where he led M&A projects as well as other strategic initiatives for the company. Prior to joining Conning in 2007, James held various leadership roles in finance and operations for Fidelity Investments and Citigroup in the United States. James has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA from Suffolk University.
