Director and Research Analyst at Conning

Michael J. Rogers is a Director and Research Analyst at Conning, where he is responsible for corporate bond credit research. Prior to joining Conning in 2002, Mr. Rogers was employed by Aeltus Investment Management, in roles of Head of Credit Research and Senior Credit Analyst. Prior to Aeltus, Mr. Rogers was employed by Mass Mutual Life Insurance, Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance and The Travelers Insurance Companies in roles that included Corporate Bond Strategy & Trading, Corporate and Emerging Markets credit research, Municipal credit research and Private Placements. Mr. Rogers has extensive credit research experience, and has covered a broad range of industries, with a particular emphasis on Banking, Finance and Telecommunications. Mr. Rogers is a graduate of Providence College with a degree in Business Management and earned an MBA from the University of Hartford. He is also a former President and Board Member of the Hartford Society of CFAs, and is a Member of the CFA Institute
