Conning Builds Out North American Business Development Team

Nicholas Girardi Joins Conning as Director, Consultant Relations
HARTFORD, CT – August 9, 2024 —Conning, a leading global investment management firm, today announced the continued expansion of its North American business development team with the appointment of Nicholas Girardi, who joins the firm as Director, Consultant Relations, effective immediately. In late 2023, Conning welcomed back Samantha Andreoli (née Arnold) as a Director, Business Development.
Girardi, who is based out of the firm’s Hartford office, will lead the North American business development team’s efforts to enhance and expand the firm’s relationship with the institutional investment consultant channel. Prior to joining Conning, Girardi worked at Wellington for 11 years, most recently as a Vice President in its Client Group, where he focused on the investment consultant channel.
Andreoli originally joined Conning in 2017 and spent five years in a sales role. She rejoined the firm from Shenkman Capital Management, where she served as a Vice President, Business Development & Investor Relations.
